The Swedish government’s strategies – Aid for a New Era; Freedom, Empowerment, and Sustainable Growth and the strategy for Sweden’s Foreign Trade, Investment and Global Competitiveness – underscore the importance of strengthening synergies across development cooperation, promotion, and trade policy. The Team Sweden group aims to effectively address the challenges facing the world, to create positive impact, while assisting Swedish companies in their growth journey and unlock their contribution to development.

Led by Business Sweden, the group provides strategic advisory, market insights, matchmaking services, and connections to key international stakeholders and funding opportunities. The Global Gateway initiative reflects the approach at an EU-level, aiming to strengthen partnerships and collaboration between EU member-countries and institutions.
