Business Forum: African Union
Swedish and Nordic companies are invited to participate in the African Union’s first large-scale Africa Business Forum, taking place on 25–27 June in Al Alamein, Egypt.

The African Union, together with the Government of Egypt, will host the Africa Business Forum (Alamein Africa Business Forum) on 25–27 June 2026 in Al Alamein, Egypt.
The forum is a high-level African business summit, formally decided by the African Union, with a strong focus on promoting trade and investment with Africa.
Heads of state from 15 African countries have already confirmed their participation, including Kenya, South Africa, Tanzania, Angola, Sierra Leone and Senegal, among others. In addition to African public and private sector representatives, the forum will bring together African and international financial institutions (IFIs) and development finance actors.
Nordic companies with an interest in doing business in Africa are invited to participate. The forum is a strategically relevant platform for companies looking to strengthen or establish business engagement in Africa.
