On 14–15 April, a Team Sweden business delegation engaged with key Moroccan public and private stakeholders across rail, aviation and energy.
The discussions focused on large‑scale infrastructure expansion and modernisation, system efficiency and safety, and the long‑term performance of critical networks.
Morocco is currently advancing an ambitious investment agenda, driven by renewable energy deployment, major transport infrastructure projects and preparations for the FIFA World Cup 2030. Exchanges highlighted strong alignment between Morocco’s priorities and Swedish expertise in clean energy systems, grid development, rail and mobility solutions, and future‑ready airport infrastructure.
The delegation reinforced the depth of ongoing cooperation between Swedish and Moroccan counterparts and underlined the concrete role Swedish solutions can play in supporting Morocco’s transition towards sustainable, resilient and efficient infrastructure systems.
