The 42nd Sweden-Taiwan Joint Business Council (JBC) Meeting will take place on Thursday, May 21st in Taipei, focusing on two main areas: AI Data Centers and Smart Healthcare.
Why join the event?
Taiwan plays a crucial role in the global AI supply chain, excelling in chip manufacturing, components, server assembly, and data center operations. The country produces over 90% of the world's AI servers and about 80% of total server shipments, leading the market in these sectors.
Furthermore, Taiwan's healthcare sector is undergoing significant expansion, propelled by advancements in AI-driven care solutions, the development of environmentally sustainable and resilient hospital infrastructure, and enhancements to home-based care and telemedicine services.
The JBC meeting seeks to create meaningful business opportunities and establish strong partnerships between Swedish companies and major stakeholders in Taiwan
Agenda
The Sweden-Taiwan Joint Business Council meeting featured plenary sessions and two breakouts focused on AI Data Centers and Smart Healthcare, including presentations and panel discussions by leaders from both countries.
A one-day visit program will coincide with the JBC meeting, featuring example visits such as:
- Healthcare track: healthcare authorities and leading hospitals with AI healthcare centers
- AI Data Center track: AI server OEMs and data center operators
