Team Sweden is organising a high-level business delegation to Argentina and Brazil in 2026, bringing together business leaders, government representatives and public authorities to explore opportunities in the two giants of Mercosur.

In light of the prolonged process surrounding the provisional approval of the EU-Mercosur trade agreement, Minister Dousa has chosen to cancel the planned business delegation to Argentina and Brazil.
The delegation will take place at a timely moment, following the soon-to –be-finalized signing of the EU-Mercosur trade agreement, a gamechanger that opens new sales opportunities for Swedish products and services to South America’s two largest economies - Argentina and Brazil.
Under the overarching theme ‘Made with Sweden’, the programme will focus on the role of Argentina and Brazil as regional hubs for strategic technologies, advanced industry, and green transition, exploring partnership opportunities in key areas such as:
- Sustainable mining and critical minerals
- Mobility systems and automotive supply chain
- Advanced manufacturing and industrial machinery
- Agricultural technology and food systems
- Retail and fast‑moving consumer goods (FMCG)
