Sweden and Poland deepens collaboration during Sweden’s Royal State Visit. The Team Sweden’s business delegation advanced across Warsaw and Gdańsk, driving concrete progress in security, innovation and economic competitiveness.
In Warsaw, discussions at SEB and the Warsaw Stock Exchange set a clear tone: Poland is emerging as a powerhouse of European growth, and Swedish companies are well‑positioned to scale with it. Parallel visits to Orlen, WB GROUP and ElevenLabs highlighted the depth of opportunities in energy transition, defence technologies and frontier AI.
Security and resilience took centre stage at the Swedish‑Polish Stronger Together Forum, where His Majesty King Carl XVI Gustaf joined senior leaders from both countries. The dialogue signaled a united push to reinforce Europe’s total defence posture and safeguard critical infrastructure in a rapidly shifting geopolitical landscape.
In Gdańsk, the focus tightened.
At the Baltic Sea Security Talks, Sweden’s Minister for Defence Pål Jonson underlined shared strategic interests in the region. With the Baltic Sea Security Pact now a cornerstone of the Swedish‑Polish Strategic Partnership, the talks advanced new avenues for cooperation, from defence industry collaboration to regional preparedness.
Innovation momentum surged at Gdańsk Science and Technology Park, where Poland’s rapidly expanding high‑tech ecosystem showcased strong potential for Swedish–Polish joint ventures, scale‑ups and research partnerships.
Across three days, the delegation charted a clear direction: deeper cooperation, shared security and a sharpened focus on competitiveness and sustainable growth in the Baltic region.
