Sweden-Japan Sustainability Summit marks finale of Sweden’s Expo 2025 participation
On October 10th the Sweden–Japan Sustainability Summit 2025 took place at the Expo Salon in Osaka, joined by Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden. This marked the grand finale of Sweden’s official participation at Expo 2025 Osaka.

Pioneer the Possible is Sweden’s long-term platform for collaboration, designed to connect companies, policymakers and academia around shared sustainability challenges.
The summit in Osaka gathered over 250 participants and was honoured by the presence of Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden and Minister for Public Administration Mr. Erik Slottner.
This discussions centred around three key themes shaping the global sustainability agenda:

Circular lifestyles; creating systems for circular living and responsible consumption

Future mobility; decarbonising transport and building sustainable value chains

Net-zero healthcare; reducing healthcare emissions to protect both people and the planet
Through these dialogues, Swedish and Japanese leaders explored new opportunities for partnership, innovation and joint solutions to accelerate the green transition.
