Sweden as Partner Nation at Berlin Security Conference 2025

The Berlin Security Conference 2025 has successfully concluded, marking an important milestone for Sweden’s growing role in European security cooperation. As this year’s Partner Nation, just 18 months after Sweden’s NATO accession, Team Sweden showcased the innovation, capabilities and solutions of 17 Swedish companies within security and defence.

The three-day programme opened at the Nordic embassies and continued at the main congress, offering the delegation strong visibility and direct access to senior decision-makers.

Programme highlights

  • High-level industry sessions enabling Swedish companies to engage directly with ministers and key stakeholders. H.R.H. Crown Princess Victoria, Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson, Minister for Defence Pål Jonson and Minister for Civil Defence Carl-Oskar Bohlin all participated.

  • Targeted networking with German counterparts, opened by Minister for Public Administration Erik Slottner, tailored to the delegation’s needs and commercial priorities.

  • Receptions at the Nordic embassies and the Swedish Ambassador’s Residence, hosted by Ambassador Veronika Wand Danielsson and attended by H.R.H. Crown Princess Victoria, strengthening Sweden–Germany industry dialogue.
